My Lego HK UMP 45

After a couple weeks of working, I finished my Lego gun. It works and it is amazing. I started out when I saw other people's Lego gun. On their videos on YouTube, they showed the mechanism. I saw how it worked and realized it wasn't very hard. I tried making my own. I started out with a magazine that I ended up improving 3 times. I made the gun and tried to make as accurate as possible. It has mostly what it needs. I made a trigger and a reloading system. :)

Parents Want Perfect

This was a thought I had a long time ago. Why do parents want perfect? Think about the saying, nobody is ever perfect, and then the saying, practice makes perfect. Practice can't make perfect because nobody can be perfect. But still, parents want perfect from kids. The parents get mad when you make a mistake, what about the saying, everybody makes mistakes? They aren't perfect either, they make mistakes too. But still, parents want perfect from kids. Nobody can be perfect, but still, they expect you to to practice until you are perfect at something. But that will never happen. So the parents expect you to do something you can never do. No matter how good you are, you can't be perfect. But why do parents want perfect? One of my theories are that parents regret not working harder when they were young, so they want their children to not regret that too, they work them hard with force. They do it because they love their child, I hope. But I don't think prefect is their intention, it is probably something like very very good. So when my mom works me hard, I will think that she is only doing that because she loves me.

The Horror of Ketchup

When I look at ketchup, I shudder. It makes me feel like throwing up. I don't even remember the taste of it when I think about it. I just don't like how it looks like and feels like. I don't remember even eating it or tasting it either. But when I look at ketchup I cringe. Something about ketchup makes me feel fishy and uneasy. I never thought about the taste, but I am prejudice and expect it to be disgusting. When I was young I ate ketchup once and I insisted that it was hot and I never ate it again. But I don't think of "hot" when I think of ketchup. I think of queasiness. Why am I afraid? I never tried it before, except once. How do I know what it is going to taste like? But once that prejudice wiggled into my mind, I never want to try it. I never go near ketchup. I always stay away from it. But now that I think about it, what if it isn't the taste that I don't like it? What if it is the color? Although I like red. It might be the way it looks too. It can be anything, but I don't like ketchup anyway.  I don't think I ever will try it, but I hope I can get the prejudice out of my mind.

Where Does The Universe End?

If you think about strange things, you may notice some unanswered questions that are, confusing. I have lots of questions that have no answers at all and one of them is, "Where does the universe end?
Well, where does the universe end? There has to be an end of the universe no matter how big it is. It can't go on forever. There has to be a start and an end to the universe. But what is at the end of it? Is there just suddenly a huge white empty spot right next to the endless darkness? What if we sent a human on a super high tech rocket ship to find the end of the universe in the future? Would it be possible? Will there be an end? The universe might be like Earth. The universe can be like a sphere.            The universe might not have an end. You might just keep going around and around. But I think that universe does have an end, but we can't reach it. It is to far and to big for us to reach it. I think that there will just be nothing at the end.

SUPER CONTINENT

Amasia  is North and South America, Asia and Europe mashed all together. This is the newest theory of the next supercontinent. Amasia will be up in the arctic. But nobody on this planet right now at this moment will be able to see it. Amasia will form in about 100 millions or so. If I were to name this supercontinent, I would call it "Snouth Eurasica" First, South and North combined, then Europe, Asia, and America. Although I won't be able to live in Snouth Eurasica, I think it would be a huge America. I expect there to be millions of people from all over the world. There would be new countries. I expect the countries in their path or near them to be mashed together too. This would probably make Snouth Eurasica a humongous country! I wish I could live there. Sir Carrot, a noble and brave knight of the vegetable was the first knight.

NEW MOVIE SERIES

The name of this new movie series is TOP SECRET. That is the name. The first one is TOP SECRET: The Break In... It has parts to it. I just finished part one of the 1st movie.
By the way, Sir Asparagus arrived at the vegetable!

Vegetable or Fruit?

The tomato is a strange fruit. Or is it a fruit? The tomato is known as a fruit because of its seeds. But these seeds are actually imposters! The name of it is the spadulae. It looks like a seed but it is not. The white small seedlike things inside the pulp of the tomato. The small "seeds" don't really have a function. They don't need seeds because they grow by cloning. I didn't know that tomatos can clone. The spadulae should have a function, otherwise it wouldn't be there. Maybe the spadulae helps clone the tomatos. If the tomatos were cloned... Did all tomatos come from only one tomato? Is this why almost every tomato looks the same? It seems strange. Can any other plants reproduce in other ways besides cloning and growing by using seeds? There are endless questions I have for the strange vegetables. But now I know that the tomato does not have a seed! This makes the tomato an official vegetable.
Also, the tomato is now an official member of the vegetable. Sir Tomato of the vegetable!!
P.S. What about cucumbers? They have seeds!

The Knights of The Vegetable

The 25 Knights will slowly be revealed. The first is Sir Cucumber if the Vegetable.

Earning Trust

The one thing that I hate a lot, is when people don't trust me. For example, when I tell the truth to someone who asks a question, they don't believe me. I get really frustrated when this happens. But I can't do anything. They made up their mind to not trust me. So I learned that you must earn their trust at a camp from 4 weeks ago... When I finally arrived at camp, I saw clumps of people together, chattering about something. They were all laughing and having fun, I felt alone. I did not know anyone, but they all seemed to know each other. The laughter died out as one by one other kids came in. I was nervous about what other kids would think of me. But I became confident when I realized we were doing Lego Mindstorms, something I have at home. Another kid had it at home too. When we were working on the project, there was one kid who popped out a bit. He did most of the building and he just made us get the pieces. I wanted to help, but he wouldn't let me. The first day passed by quickly. But that kid was still troubling me. As the second day past and the third day came, they decided to not trust me. The kid, James decided that none of my ideas would work and that he was the boss. My head boiled and exploded and boiled. The next day something inside me erupted. When I got home, I started working hard on a robot. I kept on trying and I didn't stop. The ideas that were crammed in my head were just flowing out. After many hours, I went downstairs and got the computer. I got the USB and I started programming. I ended up sleeping at 1:00. But still I slept very well. The next morning. I got my box with my robot inside and marched into the room full of the kids. I came before James on purpose. A kid in my group noticed the box and asked what was inside. Then I smiled and pulled out, The Claw Tank. My teammates' eyes grew big as I pulled out my robot. Then I picked up the remote control and pressed the power button. Then I pressed my button on the remote control and went for a test run. It went smoothly. I knew I earned their trust. But now I needed James to trust me. They were prancing around saying that we were going to win when James walked in. They scrambled over and explained that I made this amazing robot. James seemed a little grumpy when he saw it. I showed him the robot. Suddenly he sat down and started making a robot. I guessed that he was jealous. This meant I had their trust. This was all I wanted, nothing more. I didn't care if I won or lost the contest. But I did anyway.
HERE ARE SOME PICTURES.

When those eyes see something, they chomp

A Striped Theory

Why do zebras have stripes? Many scientists came up with many theories for this unanswered question. But a new theory was formed. Scientists discovered that it might be flies... Flies? Yup, you heard me, flies. Scientists did a test. They made a fake horse and other ones with stripes and they covered the horses with super sticky stuff. The scientists let flies bite the fake horses. After testing with different kind of stripes, they discovered the one that were most like zebra stripes had the least amount of flies stuck to them. So they concluded with  the fact that zebra has stripes to not get bit by flies. But I have a lot of more unanswered questions for the scientists. Why are pandas black and white? Why do pats purr? Why do hyenas have spots? There are probably millions of questions waiting to be answered around the world.

New Theory

Vision and thinking is not faster than light. Thinking is faster than vision. Light is 1st place. Thinking is 2nd place. Vision is 3rd place.

MUTANT BUTTERFLIES!

After a nuclear disaster, scientists discovered something that sounds like it came out of a science fiction book... MUTANT BUTTERFLIES! Big mutant butterflies. Now that sound creepy. I guess the nuclear disaster made butterflies change into mutant ones. It sounds fake. But it is real. Mutant butterflies? The next thing you know, there will be flying pigs! I personally never really liked big butterflies. But seriously, MUTANT BUTTERFLIES? That is crazy! Does this mean nuclear diasters can change other animals, or maybe even humans? We better be careful or we might end up becoming mutant human living with other mutant animals. I hope I don't find any mutant butterflies in my path one day.

Pirates!

A Somali pirate received 12 life sentences in prison from the judge for helping hijacking a vessel and a yacht. Pirates are real! I knew they were real but I never knew there are pirates still around the place. I thought they were just from the long ago when people used sail boats and things like that. I never thought pirates actually roam around in the sea and do bad things. Are pirates like the pirates in movies? Do they use little swords and have big sail ships. Do they look for treasure? Or are new pirates just like attacking people and stealing money. Do they bury there money? Also, why did the pirate receive 12 LIFE sentences? He has one life, how can he get 12 life sentences? What's the point of giving 2 billion life sentences if he is only have to stay in prison for his whole life anyway? I hope I don't meet any pirates...

Fish Fart

Researchers heard a small cricket like chirping noise in the water. But they discovered the truth. They had got the first recordings of fish actually farting! A tiny submarine recorded the sounds off the coast of South Florida. I thought this was really strange, can fish and other animals fart? Since the fish farted that means it can probably poo and pee. It seems strange, fish pooping and peeing. Does this mean that other animals can also fart and do other stuff? Can every animal make waste too?Are we swimming in fish fart, poo, and pee when we go to the beach? I hope not.

Green Toxic

In 1859 a chemist discovered that there is toxic in the green arsenic used to make things green. People saw green as a cheerful color and painted there walls green., but they suddenly got warnings of the dangerous green objects they have at home. Toys were colored with this green toxic and so were many other things.Workers who made things green sometimes got the green materials in their fingertips. Matilda, a worker, ate food with her arsenic covered fingertips and started to vomit nonstop. Her vomit was green. One day she had a vomiting attack and went to the doctor. Before she died, she said that everything looked green. In the 1850s fake flowers and fruits on head wear was popular to women. A little girl died because she sucked on the fake green grapes on a hat. When mothers say that their child's tummy hurt because he/she ate to much candy, it is not true! The wrapper has toxic which touches the candy and delivers the toxic. Vegetable are green but they don't have toxic. Does this mean that every candy or food that is green, not naturally, has toxic? The first thought that came to my mind was poison ivy. It is green and is toxic. So I started realizing so many things in a house are green and that most of them can be toxic. I think that now, most of the things aren't toxic because people know now that green arsenic is toxic. I hope I don't get poisoned!

Robot Dragon

Richard Hamel is a man who made a robot fly. Even though there are many robots in the world that can fly. I think Richard is amazing. I always wanted to make my Lego creations fly. I to used think that robots can't fly. But they can. Richard Hamel is an R/C plane builder. Richard Hamel made a fire breathing robot dragon that actually flies. He made it based on the dragon from the movie, How to Train Your Dragon. He noticed the tails of the dragons in the movie were a little odd. The robot was 33 pounds total so he made the wings 9 feet wide. I never knew in order for the robot to fly you need to make the wings/propellers wider. I am going to create a flying machine out of Mindstorms. The NXT brick will be in the middle and there will be three motors to lift it up. I hope it works.

Rabbits Don't Like Carrots

I used to think that rabbits and bunnies are cute little creatures that nibble on carrots and that mice loved cheese. But now I know it was all just a fake thing someone made up. It turns out rabbits don't really eat carrots, in fact they like radishes and cabbages a lot better. Even mice do not like cheese, they like grains and fruit. All the books I read, all the stories I read and in all the games I played, these things came out. But they are all just myths. Humans are just impersonating animals. People say ducks quack and that cows moo, but they don't actually do. Dogs don't bark, bow-wow, yip, or ruff. The animals make way more complicated noises. Not just "quack", "moo", and "neigh". People can't make the sound so they just guess or make things up. I don't like that. I think it's time the world knows the truth about the cute little rabbit's favorite food and the other animals!

The Physics of Cheating at Baseball; SPITBALL SCIENCE

Scuffballs, spitballs, and corked bats. Some baseball players are accused of cheating, Jim Kaat reveals the cheats that were used. I never knew baseball players could cheat so well and be such great physists, but they forgot one thing for cheating. The gloves. The baseball players forgot to modify the gloves. They can make their gloves more wider so the glove can easily catch the ball. The players probably can think of a way to fix their glove to catch the ball better, if they can make spitballs and corked bats. I think somebody in one of the baseball teams will probably modify their glove one day. After realizing that some sports players cheat, I looked at this from a different point of view. What if tennis players cheated too? They might change the balls to make their serves harder to hit or change their tennis rackets to make the ball do weird actions.. A long time ago I read an article about a tennis player who technically cheated because he wore green clothes. Since the ball is green and he wore the same color, the opponent might get confused and not see where the ball is coming. That's one possible cheat out of the many others out ther. I think that there is a possibility tennis pkayers might also be great physists.

The Man Who Mailed Himself

Willie Reginald Bray seems a lot like me. Challenging rules and stretching out boundaries, keeping a foot or a finger over the boundary line. But he is different in one way, he is more couraegous than I am
. In 1898, Willie Reginald Bray , age 19, got the book of the Post Office rules, Bray read the rules, but saw them as challenges instead. He stretched out the rule's boundaries and found some loopholes in the rules. Then he began a test that lasted for 10 years. He started sending strange things through the mail, but the Post Office couldn't complain, because they were the ones who created the rules. Willie Reginald Bray was still following the rules. Bray sent onions and even rabbit skulls. He even mailed himself. But I think these acts are couraegous, because a lot of people might find the loopholes, but not a lot of people will exactly try to test them. I might find some loopholes, but I am not brave enought to test them. I would get worried about getting in toruble and other things, but Bray just tested them and was not afraid. In fact, he didn't really care. He was techinically following the rules, so he was not afraid to test the workers of the Post Office. Although what he did wasn't exactly a good thing, I think Willie Reginald Bray is a brave man.

Creating The ULTIMATE TOY

Six inventors each have their own creative ideas for the ULTIMATE TOY! But they can only make these in their dreams. The first ULTIMATE TOY was the Print-a-Pet. This is a mini pet creator. You can choose the characteristics and personalities. You can even make mythical creatures. Next, there is Projecting Fantasy. You can say, "Spaceship" and then the walls of your room will be the walls of a spaceship. Pretty cool? Then there is 2D to 3D. This is one of my favorites. You can take a photo or draw something, then make it a 3D object in front of you. If you draw a machine. The bigger version would have the same working parts. You choose the size. My favorite is the Living Blocks. If you create an animal out of lego, it becomes a real living object, but in the squarish shape.
When you take the blocks apart it returns to its normal state. Now I will show you my ULTIMATE TOY. My creation would be The Wand Creator. First you choose your wand. Or should I say, the wand chooses you. You get your wand from a little tank and it tells you what kind of wand it is. Then you learn real spells and use them. (I got the idea from HarryPotter) Then you won't have to be a muggle. You can be a real wizard. You could duel your friends and do anything you want with your ULTIMATE TOY.

LEGO THE TRUE STORY

I made a lot of posts about Lego and why I like it. But now I am about to reveal the true story of my side of Lego. Lego is great because of many things. I started Lego because my sister was doing it first when she was little. I followed her and also played with Lego, but she didn't keep on playing with Lego, she didn't do Lego again. I liked Lego and decided to keep on playing with it. The Lego I started with was Duplo big fat blocks that didn't make many things. As I got older the block grew smaller. I made little houses and ships. At first I just made those models and put little doors or opening up roofs. Then I started to design Lego. Somehow, by myself I started to get better and better. I started designing ships and made them look cool. Then I outgrew that phase and started working with gears and motors. A bit more into technology. I made little cars and little robots that move around. I enjoyed how the gears turn and made more advanced robots and cars. Then the next step came. The NXT Step. Mindstorms. Nothing else was as hard as Mindstorms. I couldn't understand this programming idea and everything about Mindstorms.  It made me frustrated and I didn't go well with it. But when I received a book about how to program Mindstorms, my dislike for Mindstorms changed. I started to do Mindstorms and started to make robots, currently I am still doing Mindstorms. Lego is the best thing created!

Buffalo a buffalo word

Buffalo can mean many things. 1. The city Buffalo 2. The confused buffalo 3. The animal buffalo
So grammatically, the sentence, Buffalo buffalo buffalo Buffalo buffalo , is a proper sentence. That means you can tell someone buffalo 100 times and tell them that you were saying a proper sentence.

Four Hands

I wonder how life would be with four arms. It seems strange and impossible to control four arms at once, but if we had one arm then we would think it is strange and impossible to control two arms. I think it would be pretty awesome. Life would be much easier and when playing a sport, for example tennis or swimming, four hands would be pretty useful. But it still seems so strange to me how you can have four hands. Life would be easier, but uncomfortable at the same time. Or would it? You never know because you never will experience having four arms.

The King of Tennis

Roger Federer has many names, prince of tennis, god of tennis, the master. But he doesn't just have these names for no reason. He is one of the greatest players of all time!  He won the ATPWorldTour.com Fans' Favorite Award a record nine consecutive times, he spent eight years (2003–2010) continuously in the top 2 in the year-end rankings and nine (2003–2011) in the Top 3, Federer has won a record six ATP World Tour Finals and 20 ATP World Tour Masters 1000 tournaments. He also won the Olympic gold medal. He won many more things besides that. (Source: wikipedia) When he was a child, he played badminton and basketball. He liked any sport that involved a ball. He is married to Mirka Federer. He has two daughters. Roger Federer is known for his speed and fluid style of play. His rivals are Nadal or Djokovic. Roger Federer is now and will always be known as the king of tennis!

The Stretched Out Story of Being Nice People

Me and my friend got the Nerf guns out and came to an insane battle. It was crazy. We put downs the gun to have a "peace" talk when a car pulled up. A tiny kid came and he had a water gun. Then his mom asked us to fill it for him. We used the hose and filled it. The kid started yelping and sprayed water all over the ground. Our "peace" talk turned into a duel. Then the kid came over and asked to fill it again. So we did. Then he asked to fill it again after he sprayed it in the ground. Then his mom asked to use their hose. We asked the kid if he had a sink in his house. I don't know why, but he said he didn't. We laughed and went to the hose then we noticed a tiny hole in the hose. Then suddenly as I peered down at the ho-!@#$@%^!@#! Water started squirting crazy and soon, we were both wet. Then a new battle was born. Instead of filling the gun, we started spraying each other mad. Then we turned the hose off. Then we realized we didn't fill the gun. I asked my friend to not put the water on hard. I put the gun down then suddenly water squirted into my face. Again, the battle started, but at least we somehow filled the gun. We were soaking wet. After a long time. We got back into the house and my friends mom said,"What HAPPENED TO YOU GUYS?" Then my friend spoke up and said, "We were "nice" people" Then we started laughing nonstop. THE END

Is Money Worth It's Cost?

I did a school project/presentation using Prezi. The Prezi is on the site: http://prezi.com/meskylqnfnqx/aidan-and-brian/  I did it with a friend of mine. It was about money. Well, mostly coins, but it was about the question, is money worth its cost? Printing and minting money costs money. We waste money to make money. To make a penny, it costs about 2 cents. 2.41 to be exact. 97.5% of the penny is zinc, and 2.5% of it is copper. One of my three alternates were to use recycled materials to make coins. But that is risky because anyone can make counterfeit coins then. Our other alternates were, abolish coins, or use debit or credit cards only. But after all this researching and questioning, I came with a conclusion that in the future, there will be no money! Because the technology improves, there will be no money! Far in the future, money's era will be over! I came up with a system. The idea is based on credit and debit cards. Instead of making debit cards, since you need to be 18 years or older to have one, we will make a much more simple system. It is sort of like the junior credit/debit cards. You put your money in the cards, and use it to pay things instead of paying money. The reason I even came up with this alternate is because you only need to make one junior/credit/debit card per person. Money, on the other hand, needs to be millions per person. That saves tons of money! So my conclusion is to wait! Wait until the technology gets rid of money! So wait, and you will see what happens next...

Sneak Peek of my new book, Impossible

Running. I run in the ruins of my house, the house is no longer a house, it is nothing.
I run and keep on running, thorugh the smoke and throught the ashes.
I ignore the bleeding and splinters, I just run.
I open my mouth, ready to scream, but no sound comes out. I just run.
I finally stop and dig thoughr the scraps of wood and pieces of cement wall. I find a gap and pick up the limp body. I drop the body, knowing what happened. It was too late. I was too late.
I close my eyes and sit down. I wipe ash from my eyes. But I feel water coming out. I cover the dead body. Jem was dead. Dead. So was everone else. I was alone. Nobody was there to help me, or hug me to make me feel better. And this was all one person's fault. Clem.

LIGHT STrIKE!

Light strike is pretty awesome! I thought it was some sort of iPod app/game when I first heard it from my friend. It didn't interest me. I never really thought about it until my friend mentioned it again to me another time later. He said that he got Light Strike and that he bought the shotgun and pistol. I guessed you got money in the app/game if you beat a level or something like that. (He has an iPod Touch) But then he tells me it is laser tag. Laser tag? I know laser tag! I've heard of it before! I always imagined that you had real laser guns and you shoot each other until someone "dies". But he tells me he has two guns for the laser tag. Then it hits me. Light Strike is not a app/game, it is an awesome, real life, laser tag with laser guns! I search it up on the internet. I finally realize that I was facing one of the most coolest things I've ever seen in my life!... so far. I get all piped up and excited about it. My friend shows me the guns. Even though it is not that great, I make a huge fuss over it. Targets, accessories, different weapons, fingerprint sensors, scopes, they all make up a great gun. The guns all make up a good game. You should get it too!

More Poems By... Me.

99 Cents
Walking along on the sidewalk
I spot a golden coin,
gleaming in the sunshine
I pick it up, curious,
and I am surprised,
for it said:
99 Cent coin
My Creature
My creature is nice and small,
it has wings thin as paper,
and eyes like a tiny ball,
It knows how to climb a tree
It knows how to dance
It comes to school, every day with me!
My creature, so small and fluffy,
With wings, eyes and claws,
is now stuck in a tree.
Basketball
Swish!
Dunk!
A swirl of orange goes around
Dribble,
Pass
The players only hear that sound.
The ball is passed,
The ball is thrown,
The ball is dizzy,
everyone's busy,
to look at the ball's point of view.

(Inspired by Shel Silverstein's poem, Point of View)

Hunting
In the night,
the men grab their rifles,
and shuffle around
to spot a bird of sort.
They crouch and slowly creep,
towards their target
They point their rifles at the target
But the target sniffs, and...
BOOM!- They're off
The hunters get no chance
But then they see a snake creeping to them,
then they sniff and run for their lives.

(Notice: The hunters were hunted by the snake)

Memorial Day Weekend

On Memorial Day weekend. I want to watch the new movie, Pirates a Band of Misfits. First of all, like Coraline, or This is Halloween, it is made out of clay figures and, stop motion. I get to have a chance to see a true animator's work. It didn't look creepy like Coraline, and it looked fun to watch. (Here is the trailer: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=iiQNvcYlZVg) Memorial Day weekend seemed like a good time to watch it. We have a lot of time to rest. I also wanted to watch the Adventures of Tintin, that also seemed like an interesting movie. A mystery movie. I like mysteries. Besides watching a movie, on the 5 day weekend, I would like to spend some time with my family. But my main goal is to get a good relaxing and peaceful weekend. What are you going to do?

Manners

Manners are like rules made by people to follow. If talking with your mouth full was known as a manner, then everyone would be talking with their mouth full. Who made manners? I know that someone thought of these set of rules and passed them on to people and soon everyone knew it and it was something normal to know these manners. It is like the book, Frindle, a kid started to call a pen a frindle and soon it was a normal word, everyone was asking for frindles and it was an official word. Just like frindle, manners was made by one person and became an official set of rules. It was a set of rules made by a person and soon it was known to everyone. I never thought about manners so deeply. I just thought of it as a set of rules I had to follow for the rest of my life until I die in order to look good. But now that I think about it, how did manners start? If screaming at the table and sit on the table, it would become a part of manners, everyone would be sitting on the table, throwing their food at the wall, screaming, and not getting in trouble. So you should be happy with the manners we have now!

The Perfect Thing To Do

WHOOSH! SWISH! The waves crash onto the sand. The waves form but always are the same puny size. They are just forming then disappearing again. "Whoa! That wave is big!" I look at the wave Sunguni hyung is pointing at. It is tiny. I wonder if all waves in Korea are this small. I was in Korea, with my cousins smack in the middle of a beach and my cousins thought a puny waves was a big wave. They don't know what a real wave looks like. When they come to America, I'll show them what a real wave looks like. If the waves in Korea are a mouse, the waves in America is a huge hungry cat. They will be surprised by the waves that are towering over my cousins like a monster trying to eat them. Changuni hyung, Hyoguni hyung, and Sunguni hyung must see these waves. The waves in Korea are nothing, compared to the ones I experience everyday. One of the reasons why I want to show them the waves are because I want to see their reaction. I imagine them screaming out that there is a tsunami, getting scared to go near the waves, but I actually want to see how they react. Next, I want to make sure that they experience something in America that they can't experience in Korea. For example, the waves. I want them to never forget those huge waves and always remember them. The final reason why is because I think we are going to have a lot of fun at the beach. The beach is an awesome place to play. I think Changuni hyung, Hyoguni hyung, and Sunguni hyung will like the beach. I wish time would pass by quickly so Changuni hyung, Hyoguni hyung, and Sunguni hyung can come!

Basketball!

Like a bullet, I dart into the front door hoping to see a bunch of little boxes. But I am only welcomed by an unusually big and long box. I call out, "I think this is the basketball!" Then I get a knife and rip it open. I stare at the big round ball smiling. Then I slowly pick it up. The basketball, all fresh and new... (That doesn't make any sense...) I threw it onto the floor expecting it to bounce up back to me, but it just collapses and rolls. Then I realize I have to take it out of the little box. Again, I rip it open with the knife. Then, the ball is in my hands. I weigh the ball, it's not so heavy. It was an official size basketball. Just perfect for me. I started to dribble the ball, dodging imaginary players, and shooting at imaginary hoops in an imaginary court. I never learned how to play basketball. I just know how. I watch all the kids who do know how to play. Since they learned basketball, they are really good. I watch their every move and practice them. Finally I have my own ball. Watching other people help a lot. I learned how to dribble, shoot, and pass. Watching is learning. Now that I have my own ball, I can practice by myself. Later, I go to the park and into the court. The court is empty, after all, it was raining 10 minutes ago. I take a deep breath and practice my moves. I bend my knees and I shoot. BANG! The ball bounces of the hoop. The hoop is higher than I thought. I move into another position and I shoot. BA-OONG! The ball hits the inside of the hoop and swirls around it like a tornado. The ball is sucked in and I dribble the ball to the other side. My mom coaches me, even though she never played basketball before. I let her try. Then I shoot more hoops. I start to get the hand of it. Soon, I am getting almost every shot. Once in a while I miss. I have to remember not to only use my elbow and shoulder like I always do. Time flies by. I have a match with my mom, (which, by the way, didn't go so well...) and I made a deal. It was to make a hoop from a specific spot. In the end, I made it. I was proud but I was coughing nonstop. Basketball is a fun sport!

Alex Rider

Stormbreaker is a book that changed my whole reading life. All of my friends would read it making a big deal out of it. Screaming about how amazing it is. I just ignored them and kept on reading other books I was interested in. That was my big mistake. I realized that there was a reason why they were screaming about this book. The only reason they would go crazy about is because it was good. Even kids who don't really like books read it and liked it. Then my sister "helped" me change my reading life. She had to read a group of books for a competition and the one word Stormbreaker caught my eye. Stormbreaker? I recognized that title. It was a very familiar that I have seen and heard somewhere. Stormbreaker, Stormbreaker.... Alex Rider! That book only seemed like a pointless book with just little kids becoming spies and saving the world. But I was right. It was pointless with just kids becoming spies, but it had more to that. It was not just kids becoming spies. It was Alex Rider! The author, Anthony Horowitz, knows how to grab attention from readers like me! The details just sucked me in. The beginning was phenomenal to me. It just had me stuff my face into that book. Stormbreaker, that first book was the one that started everything. It was mysterious and I found myself reading Pointblank, the second book, before I even knew it. Then suddenly I find myself buried into Skeleton Key and finally, into Eagle Strike! Now slowly, the fourth book, Eagle Strike is starting to end. Then I will read Scorpia. I think that I like the details. You should try this book! It's great! Now you can suggest some books to me!

Yes, scientist say that there is a particle they found that moves faster than the speed of light. But that is not all...
I think there is another thing that can move close to the speed of light, thought.
When you or I think of something, it just pops out of out brain in the blink of an eye.
I know something that I actually proved to my self that is faster than the speed of light. It is vision.
Vision, you can actually see the light moving. For example, when you take a flashlight and race it with my self,
it is going to win because the one press and the light is there. But I have to move my legs and push my self forward.
But when you race vision, you can actually see the wall before the light touches it. You can even look at the light traveling in a high speed.
But because the light is traveling in such a high speed, you can't see it traveling, but instead just see go straight to the wall. It doesn't look like traveling. That is because it is at the speed of light. But light can go faster. If you spin to blades that are on opposite sides on a motor, because of its high speed, it looks like a blurry disc that is spinning. Same with light, except even faster, it goes so fast, you think it didn't move at all. Back to vision and thought/idea. But what controls all of this? The brain! Yes, the brilliant organ that is so amazing!
The brain is what controls everything. Even thought, emotions, vision, touch, movement. The occipital lobe of your brain is in control of vision and thought and idea is from the pre-frontal and frontal lobes.
So are these things faster than the speed of light, or even close? Is the brain really doing all these things at one time?
Why does the world have so many questions? The answers will be found very soon....

Free time is called free time for a reason. That is because you are free to do anything
during this time, but what do I do in this time? I am known to love Lego, so obviously
I would do Lego, but now I like using my Kindle Fire for my free time. I like doing both, but these days, I don't do Lego that much. I don't know why, I think it is because I have no ideas to build
something and that I am taking a break from it.  I took a break on filming stop motions a long time ago.
In conclusion, I use my Kindle Fire in my free time whenever I can, to read books and play games.
 The Kindle Fire is amazing!
It is basically like an iPad except that you can watch movies, TV shows and read books.
The best part is that the Kindle Fire is smaller and it costs less. I like that is small because that makes it easy to carry and portable, even though the iPad is portable, the Kindle Fire weighs less and is smaller.
I like reading books and I like playing games on it. I don't listen to music on it because the Kindle is not meant for listening to music, it is for reading books, iPods are meant to listen to music and play games.
What do you do in YOUR free time?

Kindle Fire

I got the Kindle Fire, which is on fire just like me...
It is cool...
I got some books and a couple of apps. Well actually, a lot of books....
It is cool...

Kindle Fire

I can do anything with the Kindle Fire, but what will I do with it? You can watch movies, listen to music, play games, read books and magazines. But what will I use it for. I think the best use is for long trips. Or in a long car ride. Or a time when I have to wait for something, but I have to wait for a long time. I could use the Kindle Fire for one of those many things. I would read a lot of books and play games and get apps from the app store. There is WiFi on the Kindle Fire, that allows me to do almost anything. I will do everything I can on the Kindle Fire. The good thing about the Kindle Fire is that it has color. The regular kindle is black and white, no WiFi, no touch screen, and you can only read books. What would you do with YOUR Kindle Fire?

KONY 2012: Make him famous... Make KONY famous...

After I watched this heart-breaking video. My heart was moved. I was shocked, surprised...
Surprised that this whole thing happened and that nobody did anything about it.
Then I started putting up signs all over my house about Kony and how he should be stopped.
How could somebody do this to kids?
Innocent children that don't know anything. Children young,
old, all different. He kidnapped them and created an army.
He makes them KILL.
Even worse, Joseph Kony makes kids kill their OWN PARENTS...
How? How is this possible?
How did this happen?
What frustrates me most is the fact that so many people don't believe Jason Russell.
Jason Russell is the guy that started this thing and who created the video.
He is the amazing leader who got millions and millions of people to help him to stop
this evil man named Joseph Kony who is creating an army of children.
This is made him so stressed.
I feel bad for him, he only wanted to save the children.
I feel bad for Jacob and the other kids the most.
They are the kids who are living in a very worrying life.
I wouldn't want to be worrying and trembling in fear my whole life.
Joseph Kony teaches the kid how to shoot with a gun and how to kill.
Then the kid is in the army.
LRA: Lord's Resistance Army... Army of kids...
Where is this army operating in? Uganda.
We have to stop this immediately!
How would you like it if you were worrying all your life and you could never see your parents again?
So join others and get this nonsense stopped!

Why I Like Filming STOP MOTIONS

First of all, it is hard. I admit it is frustrating and hard.
I make one mistake and it is over...
But when you are finished and you go through it, you are proud!
You are like this," Wow! I actually made this myself! I am awesome!!"
I like the results. I think the results are really worth those hours and hours that run into days and days, which turns in to weeks and weeks of frustration and filming.
This makes me really proud!
Then I make another one.
Second of all, it is fun!
I enjoy filming. I like the slight movements and then taking pictures.
I don't know why but it is really fun!
I guess it is because I like Lego's itself.
Finally, I like how it feels like the Lego's are moving.
It is cool. It is like the Lego's are in their own world.
They are just like us, they are people too.
And that they can also move.
It is all like realistic.
You should try filming today!!
(I have directions on another post: http://truebutweirdstories.blogspot.com/2012/01/good-stop-motion.html)

Something To Do In Spring

Spring- spring break, and flowers,  beauty, and warm weather, fresh air, and green grass
The weather, the air, the fresh, green grass, and the beauty all makes
you want to do something. Something special that will make you want to do it forever.
Something that will make you happy and something
that will make you able to enjoy all of these characteristics of spring.
But when I see the grass and feel the fresh air, I really want to
spend time outside.
But what do I do outside?
What is there that can make me enjoy the characteristics?
How can I enjoy them?...
All of those characteristics just makes me want to rush outside and maybe play a game.
A good game that is just right.
Maybe a sport. A sport that makes you run a lot and a sport that is just right.
Like soccer, tennis, or baseball.
That is exactly the thing to do!
These sports are just right  in the spring!
Not when it is too hot and not when it is too cold!
Now that spring is coming,
I am starting to do some of the sports!
What will/are you do/doing?

HORROR

What can be more horrible than allergies? I mean, allergies are torture. My nose is going to explode right now! Why? Allergies. Allergies make my nose really stuffy. And when I say stuffy, I mean like, the not-able- to-breath-or-fix-or-not-able-to-put-medicine kind of stuffy. I can't breathe at all. It is FRUSTRATING! I can't do anything. I can't concentrate because of my nose. Even worse, I don't know what did it! And who's behind this whole thing? Allergies!~ I think I might die because of these dumb allergies. Nothing can help it, not even allergy medicine. It doesn't help, not even a bit. I wonder why people have allergies. I have spring, cat, dog, pollen, bees (because they carry pollen), winter, season change, fall, summer allergies...
This makes my life very hard. I have to suffer all these allergies.
I need some cure that would make allergies
go away forever, and if nobody
makes it, then I will.
Then the
evil
allergy
will finally
be stopped immediately.
Everyone will then not even know
what allergies are! Then I will be a great hero.
But not a hero to other, (I might be) but a hero to myself.
For inventing something that cures allergies. Do you think you
can stop allergies? Is there another way to stop it????????????????

Why is a Flower Pretty?

Why is the a flower pretty?
Why is that flower green?
Why is that computer white?
Why? Why? Why????
I think it is all because of what we think. WE think that the flower is green, and everyone else does to.
Somebody just thinks of an idea and names something or says an opinion, then that person spreads the idea around the world and soon everyone is thinking of that idea. Then it becomes an obvious thing that everybody knows. A good example is the book Frindle by Andrew Clements. The kid makes the name of a pen and spreads it to people, then everybody knows it and becomes an obvious word. But it only becomes an obvious word because we all THINK that.
It is all because of what we think. WE think that a flower is ugly, and it spreads around the world.
It is normal. If someone says that a flower is pretty, everyone will think that person is weird, why? Because they all think that a flower is pretty.
So once again we think this because of what we think!!

Tennis: My way

My Way:
First you have to push the ball and not hit it.
When you hit the ball, because your wrist is being used,
it will fly in random directions When you push it,
it pushes the ball forward and gives it strength so it can go hard.
How to get strength? Don't just use all your strength,
that makes you hit it, you should pull the racket back and then push the ball.
The more you pull the racket back, the farther and harder the ball goes.
Keep your arm, not to straight, at the same time,
not to bended and crooked. It should be in a comfortable position,
so it would be easy to push. Use your best arm.
You must let your racket be wiggly and wobbly.
The racket has to facing in only one direction, forwards.
It shouldn't be facing in diagonal and other strange directions, only forward.
That way, the ball will go forward.
How do we keep it forward?
We have to have a very firm grip on the handle.
Do not keep your hand too low or too high.
Put your hand in a good spot that will help you get a more firm grip.
What is your way?

Tennis Wars: Training

Now it was time to train myself to beat the wall... Thwack! Bounce! Thwack! Bounce! Miss.... Thirty minutes later. "I am ready..." Me: Hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, miss.... Hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, miss...... Hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, nearly miss, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, hit, bounce, nearly made it. Wall wins! Groan

Tennis Wars: Self Defense

Well, I have thinking about the last battle with the wall, but I HAVE SELF DEFENSE!!!!!!!!! I need a lawyer.... First of all, the wall has over 10 rackets, it is ten times bigger than me and it's body and everything is a racket. Wall says, ".....~~~....." I say,"IT was an unfair game, I call REMATCH!!"
To be continued...

Tennis Wars: Me VS Wall

I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I miss... I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I miss... I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I miss... I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I hit the ball, the ball bounces of the wall, I miss... GRoan..... WALL WINS!!! Groan....

Tennis

I imagine myself with the racket in my hand winning every round. But of course, that is not true. When I get to the tennis court. I hold up the racket. When the ball comes charging towards me, I can't think and I can't act fast. Everything just stops and it's just me and the ball. I just screech and whack the ball as hard as I could, sending it into the air. I get frustrated. How do you do this? Watching what is going on, my mom tries to teach me how. I keep on getting frustrated. "Push, not whack." I keep on trying. "One hour" I still keep on trying. "You got it!" No you didn't" "You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't""You got it!" No you didn't"... It goes on forever. I finally actually get it. But it isn't good. Then I find out the problem. After the problem is solved, it is two million times easier to push the ball forwards than it was before. I keep on practicing and I keep on trying. Finally I could do it. I am ready to do it again tomorrow...

Tennis Wars: Hit VS Push

What is better in tennis, hit or push? My coach (mom) says it is push. You shouldn't just whack the bard with the racket, even though you think it would go far, it wouldn't. But push is the same. That is why we bring the racket back and then push the ball forwards. We pull the racket back to gain strength when we push it. Then it will go much more farther. What do you think?

Terminator

Gosh!! The guys comes at me in full speed making weird noises and screaming. I scream and screech, he yells  must terminate... I run and I run until he drops onto the floor yelling weird things. I have no idea what he is saying, it sort of sounds something like this,"Huge flood..waht...whoa..whooaoisd...aoifji@#$!@#$!/......" Then he stops and stays on the floor. I pant and I come back in full speed as a car comes and runs over all the Nerf Bullets. I mutter,"He is going to KILL me!" Then I start picking up all Nerf bullets. Then I literally risk my life for one that the car is about to run over, I scramble in front of the car and I grab the Nerf Bullet and I come back. I look back and I see the "Terminator" coming at me with an "ax" (the ax is a huge plastic bar that looks like an ax)  Must terminate... Then he goes crazy, I take the Raider and start shooting him then I find his weak spot. I fire until he pins me onto the floor with the gun to my head. He fires and I flinch. But nothing hits me, no ammo. He laughs and pulls me up. THE BATTLE JUST BEGUN. Then it was stick fight. Staff VS Sword... But the game was over because the sword was bad then it was Staff VS Stick. Then the game was over because it was unfair. Then we just kind of had a lightsaber battle.

RUNNING

My legs go up and down. My knees make a 90° angle. Then the guy behind me is screeching with a stick in the air. He is mad! Then I go around the curve and I keep on running. Finally I outrun him and he gives up. He turns back. I wait until I am sure he is not waiting for me. Even though he was in track, does football, surfing, and similar sports. I am faster. Why? I am not sure. I learned that I go faster if I am escaping from something that can hurt me. If there is a guy that has an ax and he charges at me, I drop my weapon and I go about 10 times faster than my usual speed. But now I know how to control my speed so even if there is no harm, I can go as fast as when there is  harm. I keep my hands spread and I don't make a fist. I also keep my fingers together. It helps me run faster. To go faster I don't keep my knees to far apart. I keep them close to each other and to me. If I think of all these and I use all of them they help me go in a very high speed. How do you run?

A Life Without Lego

If you took Lego out of my life, that would be like taking all of my best friends out of my life. Without those amazing building blocks that can create so many things, my life would be different. I would probably still like technology and make robots with other things beside Lego's. But my favorite thing would probably be drawing and sketching. When I sketch, I usually sketch my ideas for making robots or other things like that. But when I draw, I free draw, I draw my own creative thoughts. It is like drawing my thoughts down. I like making cool looking weirdish things. I make impossible drawings where pigs are flying and we are in hover crafts. I like drawing animated figures. But I like to draw random figures the most. I just go with the flow and make random lines. When finished with the random lines, I would think to my self, "This looks like _____" and I would add more details to make it look like the thing it looked like. That is my favorite type of drawing. But still, that is not even close to Lego. I like Lego much better than that. Lego is my best friend. I can't dream a life without Lego. I think I like drawing because it is similar to Lego, you create your own world, anything is possible... What do you like the best?

39 Clues

There should be a movie for the 39 Clues!! It is such a good book. But I hope they don't change the story!

Movies VS Books

Harry Potter, Inkheart, Bridge to Terabithia. What do you notice about these names. They are books, but what else? They are all great books with movies made based on them!! But what I am trying to say is, Movies VS Books!!! What is better, the movie or book? I think the book is. Twenty times more descriptive and the books were made first. The movie is good because you see it in action, but almost every time, they change the story in the movie and make it terrible! Do you agree. The only movie that was pretty good based on the book was Harry Potter. But the others are terrible! In the movie for Bridge to Terabithia, there are random magical creatures inside this wonder place. The book is supposed to be realistic fiction!! There were no magical creatures. They just pretended a little! I don't get it!! In Harry Potter they changed the ending in the last movie. They kind of modified it. I did not like the last movie.
What do you think is better?

The Duck Song
