Is Money Worth It's Cost?

I did a school project/presentation using Prezi. The Prezi is on the site: http://prezi.com/meskylqnfnqx/aidan-and-brian/  I did it with a friend of mine. It was about money. Well, mostly coins, but it was about the question, is money worth its cost? Printing and minting money costs money. We waste money to make money. To make a penny, it costs about 2 cents. 2.41 to be exact. 97.5% of the penny is zinc, and 2.5% of it is copper. One of my three alternates were to use recycled materials to make coins. But that is risky because anyone can make counterfeit coins then. Our other alternates were, abolish coins, or use debit or credit cards only. But after all this researching and questioning, I came with a conclusion that in the future, there will be no money! Because the technology improves, there will be no money! Far in the future, money's era will be over! I came up with a system. The idea is based on credit and debit cards. Instead of making debit cards, since you need to be 18 years or older to have one, we will make a much more simple system. It is sort of like the junior credit/debit cards. You put your money in the cards, and use it to pay things instead of paying money. The reason I even came up with this alternate is because you only need to make one junior/credit/debit card per person. Money, on the other hand, needs to be millions per person. That saves tons of money! So my conclusion is to wait! Wait until the technology gets rid of money! So wait, and you will see what happens next...
